High prices are a consequence of the economy no longer being service oriented. It is now favoring quality over quantity. So prices go up. Less quantity means more subscriptions too. This will favor nerdier people but also probably a lot of generational wealth. So America is starting to look more like a National Aristocracy. Now it just needs a Monarchy.
