It makes more sense that they're a family wary of online weirdos, and don't want anything online that they could comment on. Though this had the unintended consequence of people thinking she's alive.

Occam's razor bro:
1. Opioid junkie slut who was partying OD'd on fent laced benzo pills. This happens like 100,000 times a year.

Versus:
2. An elaborate scheme where all her friends, family, online people, all team up to pretend she's dead. And at 3 years no hint of her being alive is found. And being an online attention seeking addict laying low for 3 years is not in her style. She'd run to some laptop or smartphone and blab to her discord buddies first chance she got.

I'm treating her as dead unless there's some direct evidence.

And a big fallacy is to see Ciara and others as a "big deal", ergo if she dies it has to be something similar. People can't just fall in the shower and die. And I fell into this trap too. I thought if Ciara was gonna die, there'd be announcement of her being rushed to hospital. And for weeks she'd be in poor health before dying. Just OD'ing like that out of nowhere seems too sudden. But that's life, it's not like a novel or a movie.
