I noticed Australia and NZ you have lots of mental illness/trashy people, but then when you visit and realise lots of these towns have nothing going for them (it's even more derelict than USA), lots of youth go into trashy behaviour, drug use, etc. Unless you're well educated (middle class and up) you end up in a very trashy culture. These people literally live like Wild West still.
