Oh and to answer the question they know what they're doing but don't give it much thought and probably can't help it because it's just their natural instinct. Play the innocent confused child to squirm out of responsibility and to make the person you're talking to feel like you need to be guided, saved, protected. The innocence is the act not the childlike thinking. If this act fails and they don't get what they want then you would get the nasty animal side and all the confused innocence would disappear in a second.
