Honestly, I don't think women share the same concept of "Romance" or "Love" as men do. To a woman, "Love" is just "Wow, I really managed to snag a good/hot/Chad man, I sure don't want to lose him from my boyfriend slot.". "Romance" is just "Wow, this man is doing a lot of things for me, I sure am enjoying this.".
It's a hard pill to swallow, but women really do perceive the world COMPLETELY differently than men do, so it makes no sense to look for ("male") romance in a woman.
