i appreciate you clarifying your train of thought, and i apologize for going off on you like that. i believe i know what you are referring to by 'excusing her behaviour', since i've encountered people doing this in 'the wilds' of the internet (e.g. twitter & facebook). however, as i said before, i believe the majority of posters here agree that she was a notoriously toxic individual. i also believe that any mention of her mental illnesses or traumas or whatever are only to provide context as to why somebody could end up the way she was before her death.

to continue the discussion: your assessment of the main issue with her behaviour is one that i share. i could sperg about how this 'allowance of bad behaviour' can be all tied back to cultural shifts that are detrimental for society as a whole, but i'll save that shit for /pol/ or /r9k/ lol. like >>3830 said, she needed a genuine intervention very early in life. probably after her father molested her + abandoned the family would have been best, since there's a chance you could actually detect the emerging symptoms of BPD/PTSD/whatever-else then try to treat them, but i'm obviously playing armchair psychiatrist here.

writing this reply has brought this thought to mind: it really is quite shameful on kim's part that bianca was free to spiral so far down like this before she even hit 18. i have no sympathy for that woman, quite frankly; this whole situation serves as a monument of her failure to be a proper parent. not going to pretend like raising any child, let alone one like bianca, is easy but there are better ways to parent than just throwing up your hands and giving up. i can only imagine how bianca's siblings will turn out, going forward.
