i agree with basically everything you said but id be careful using the term addiction when referring to pornography, its a far more obscure concept and usually those who suffer its effects like PIED and death grip live otherwise normal lives and arent the neckbeard drooling vegetable you might picture as the archetypal porn addict.
the term a lot of studies use is "problematic porn use" and is usually self identified by individual respondents.
