These aren't emotions, these are simple facts about human nature. It is realistic to see someone's flaws, point them out, and tell that person "this needs to change"

It doesn't matter how much free support she receives, they are merely ways to make the work she has to do easier. They are not what causes the change itself. Only she can change herself. If she gets a free ride but still has all of these issues she refuses to work on, none of that help is progress. It is wasted resources.
