Can't remember which famous Brit said this but he argues that one's relationship with their country is intensely personal so it's not a topic that should even open for public scrutiny (i.e. rising for the flag). I think any Christian with an once of humility or rationality feels similarly about God.

I don't think she's sat down and earnestly examined her fundamental/first principles. She's quite young in fairness but I think philosophy's something people often use to feel like they've gained insight into the world without really understanding themselves. I mean real insight; the kind you can only obtain by paying attention and being honest (even if you don't want to)
