She doesn't show her true flaws until later. And when she does it's too late for some, since both the people she goes after and the people who are attracted to women like her are the kind to get attached. Call it being desperate or vulnerable or naive or whatever describes it best. But she romanticizes this too, thinks it's cute and fun, while making it seem that whatever issues that pop up are either your fault or not there at all, until she starts drifting off and doing horrible things with no explanation whatsoever.
