I hate to be that guy, but I did a shit ton of opiates in my day and had no problem getting off them. I once had a giant sandwich bag filled to bursting with oxy and I was like, "This will last forever." But then I finished it off in a week.

Some people have a genetic predisposition to addiction. Or mental illness. Ciara probably had both.
