I know this is bait, but I just want to say that she's not ugly, she's just not presenting herself well. Yes, people who are truly genetically blessed with being inherently, completely conventionally attractive don't have to try as hard as others, but the vast majority of people considered attractive are investing a massive amount of time and money into maintaining that status. Iris is doing very little in comparison to try to be liked, and her standards for herself are based on the mousy, disheveled quasi-autistic white girls who watched too much anime growing up that she sees being idealized by the men she surrounds herself with online. This is the issue. She's trying to fit into a mold that wasn't made for her, which is part of why she sticks out like a sore thumb here beyond how she presents herself physically.

I don't think people's worth lies in their apperance but unfortunately, not only do most people feel this way, most people want to be on the receiving end of this. Iris wants to be adored by many people, but in order to be adored by many people, she must make herself more conventionally attractive. This is how it is, and I'm not sure if she fully understands this. Perhaps she's believed the r9kcel nonsense about how women get unlimited attention and adoration and money just by existing as women, but it's not true. You have to bring something to the table, and as of right now, she puts in minimal effort into her appearance, hobbies, posts, personality, and life in general. Despite having read plenty of posts in Iris threads over the past year or two, what I know about her is close to nothing, because most of what she does and says is empty and irrelevant, only serving to cycle back towards herself and how she feeels boring and irrelevant.

The reason so many other e-girls of similar looks status became popular isn't because they were actually more attractive than Iris, it's because they were interesting. It's not about being attractive or unique or a good person, it's about being someone that people want to be a voyeur to for whatever reason. I guarantee the main reason most people still come to this board is because it's like watching a car crash to them. Ciara was a manic junkie that had an endless amount of nudes and drama, Marky posted nudes and lewd artwork and fucked an eceleb and had drama with other egirls, Bianca had an underage sex tape and a vast digital footprint and went to rehab and got murdered, Sunny got groom and had nudes leaked after fully integrating herself into sheep village and becoming well liked. Even new egirls like Cewl are only popular and liked because they post nudes and make an effort to go out of their way to regularly talk to orbiters.
Then you have the ones who seemed more liked for their personalities, which all came across as very carefully cultivated, like Audrey with the wilderness doomsday prep military autism larp, Hikki-chan with the lonely neet girl thing who emulates watamote and fulfills a fantasy of being with yourself as the opposite gender, Kennedi with the misunderstood frail wannabe poet and philosophy professor shtick, Ashley Jones as the pickme comedian.

Currently, Iris is not fulfilling any specific niche. She is not trying to be entertaining, or interesting, or unique, or funny. She thinks that coming here and talking to us as she would write in a text file is enough. She is not trying to be anything, which is where she's failing, because to be an egirl is to perform. Even when they feel genuine, it's performative, because they are publicizing it. This is why so many of them completely move on the second they get a life offline. They lose the need to perform.
