besides, her longstanding and barely concealed disdain for Afro-American culture, leads me, at least, to consider that there is possibly some (possibly sub-conscious) racial animus motivating her reading and review of the film and her hand-waving away of the lived experience of Black americans and their subjugation at the hands of fundamentally racist institutions and power structures. that's all i'm saying. i think it's something that's worth considering.
