I guess it's not surprising. You have an entire generation of women who just see men as tools to be used and discarded, and women as the recipients of all the benefit, so when they see a woman being nice, they think of it like either she's debasing herself, or she's insulting him. Like they think being nice to another person is this huge deal.
It's crazy to me how half of the population is stuck on the phase of being an overly emotional 12yo. They really seem to not have mentally developed past that.
