Spam is mostly cleared. Attack lasted 5 minutes and ended when captcha for all posts was re-enabled. ~50 threads were spammed concurrently with ~5 posts being made per minute in each thread.

Not sure. I think probably not. IP is changed between each post which presents difficulties, and the engine is limited. Maybe there's someway whatever VPN service he's using to spam could be blanket banned from the board but I don't know.
