Then we rise above it. We turn it into an advantage. For example, simping on social media means you can point out their looks to shame them. They always have the same patterns anyway. Or post people with bad looks who share the same behaviors they do.
Insulting one's looks isn't a reasonable argument, but this isn't an argument, it's an attempt at correcting their behavior, in a way that they'll actually listen. If they listened to words, you'd use that.
