>>2536The editing and song is pretty cool. I do agree that in the long term, it may not be worth it. Youtube has strict censorship, and even if the video doesn't get taken down, it surely won't be promoted in the algorithm for the content it contains. I think there could be other ways to show the videos to the world, and it is a fun challenge to think of out-of-the-box ways to do so. Potential ideas:
1. Advertising on odd-ball websites could be fun. Don't go through Google Adsense, that's cucked.
2. Buy a bunch of expired domains that have a lot of backlinks to them and just direct them to my main domain. Here's a website with expired domains and you can see how many backlinks they have under the "BL" tab.
https://www.expireddomains.net/deleted-com-domains/3. Buy bus ads, billboard ads, plane ads
4. Hire college kids around different states to print out and post fliers in their college/town
5. Put some videos along with images and a text document link to my website on a flashdrive. Put the flashdrive in a plastic bag with the word "confidential" written on the bag. Leave the bags places like a grocery store aisle, a park bench, gas pump, etc. People will be very curious and grab the flash drive
6. A parody missing pet, job wanted, job for hire, flyer. Have one of those fliers with the strips of paper cut up for people to grab and it's "icum.to" on the paper pull. This one could be really funny, like a picture of Ashton and it says "looking to buy homemade testosterone. Will pay in cash"
7. Drop glossy photos, like Polaroids, on the ground with a photo of yours truly with "website: icum.to" written on it with a black sharpie
8. Make novelty fake drivers license/ID lanyard, input whatever information along with "website icum.to". Drop these where someone will find it
9. If any of you guys are turbofaggots, put some of these potential items in a geocaching spot
We can come up with ideas for which one seems best, make artwork for the potential flyers/advertisements. It's probably a good idea to buy a domain with a .com that redirects to icum.to, since normies are retards and don't know that .to is a valid TLD. If you guys have an idea for a funny, short domain that ends with .com, we can do that.
If you plan on doing flyers or placing items, ask whoever is in charge of the area if you have their permission. It is probably private property, so you need to get permission to place items technically. You don't want to vandalize or litter, so always get permission, whether it's for private or public property. I don't know the laws, so you must make sure you follow them in your area. I am obligated to make this statement.
I know these methods won't get me mass exposure, and that's not really my goal. It's about having fun. I don't want to buy advertisements on chan sites because that's the definition of pathetic and very inorganic. I don't really want to "buy" an audience, let's just think of weird ways people can be exposed to these videos. Advertisements can be kind of pricey and there are a number of ways companies do ads, a bidding system is one. You bid a certain amount of money to have your ad seen by more people. Another way is they charge you based on how many people click on your ad. Some websites accept a flat rate for a set amount of time. If there are websites you find that do advertising, see if they have a price list. If they don't, and it's a smaller site, you can always contact the owner and ask. It could be worth it depending on the website.
