it's mostly the nostalgia aspect of it for me now. I liked it when I was a kid so it gives me the warm fuzzies. and most of the reason I liked it as a kid was cause I would do it with my friends, and the social aspect, talking to people on there was fun. I went from the slowest to fastest typist in my class within like 6 months back then.
I think the inverse is why I can't get into animal crossing.
