fair enough. I haven't made a profile on myheritage in particular, although I think it might be a branch of ancestry, but I don't know how much information they ask for when you make an account. but if it's basic info the government probably already has that info about pretty much everyone from facebook and google, if not just from things like your driver's license and tax forms.
I do agree that they have a cross-platform profile on everyone though. and the most important contributors are likely your ISP and your smartphone (Google or Apple).
