Jaycar is a chain of stores that still sell electronics components (resistors, capacitors, etc) and associated hobbyist paraphernalia. Unfortunately their current staff do not seem to know anything about what they sell, and they also (apparently) frequently mess up 'click and collect' orders.
One or more NEETs with an interest in the hobbby, and too much time on their hands, regularly feels slighted by the business and staff. At least one turns subsequent visits into some kind of vendetta, or at least sets out to upset the staff.
