We must understand that the great tides of social, technological and political change are things we have no control over.
The forces are too powerful, we as individuals are too weak. What will happen will happen. History has always been like this. What will come will come. Events in motion have their own momentum.
Modern man tends towards narcissism and lacks humility and this is why he sees his opinions on things as having value and thinks he can change fate itself.
We are really just a type of peasant who can only watch while things happen around us. We will be happier when we accept that.
