Dont think its time to get that adxe yet. The handle that comes with it looks fine but its too short. I might be able to make a suitable handle from a spar for the old adxe I already have. I sawed off the old handle and got my axe wedges back. I looked at the eye and its tapered which explains a lot of how the handle is supposed to go. Gonna go to bed and think about it.
