I heard it is much easier today to become a NEET and simply sponge off the system with free gibs while living with your parents than it is to try making a living. If that is true our nation is already on it's way to full blown collapse. I would just recommend not participating in that case, because participation is what keeps the corrupted unjust system itself running.

As far as financial woes all I can say is at this point that all depends when you were born, what parents you have (or adopted you), the wealth of your family and your relations to them, and whether or not you were working 20+ years ago. Some are born into wealth, others marry into it, many lived during better days and worked hard for it and earned a decent living and saved up for retirement, some got lucky having the right connections in life, some decided to make money in the trade instead of taking out a huge student loan and that, for some time, paid off well.

One thing to keep in mind here: when you know the game is meant to cheat you, sometimes it's better just to quit and not play that game. Think outside the box and find other ways and means to survive (whether you do it yourself, with friends or family).
