One good mix drink is a rusty nail.

It's real simple.

You pour 3/4th a glass of bourbon whiskey on the rocks. Then pour 1/4th a glass of Drambuie and stir it up. You got yourself a rusty nail.

For those that don't know or never had the pleasure, Drambuie is around $40 per 750ml bottle. It is a sweet and spiced whiskey, you normally do not drink it straight but to flavor other drinks. It's still got as much alcohol content as normal whiskey, btw. A few rusty nails will start to make you feel pretty good.
