I do not join social media sites that require sign-ins especially personal authentication schemes that require phone numbers or IDs.

Too unsecure, too easy to dox the user base, too many threats out there make that possible today.

The only personal info I give out is on a needed basis, for practical business and financial purposes but that is on a completely separate computer typically offline and turned off when not being used.
