At least the "idiot" older generations learned to read and write, knew how to fix utilities and have some life skills. Entertainment was way better quality too.

I'm not blaming younger generations though. I blame the government and Congress because they bankrupted the country with endless wars and debt insolvency, almost all the problems we have now, including economic, is the result of very stupid arrogant political policies the last 3 decades. Smartphones did nothing to help with current social problems either.

If anything I think we need a hard reset back to 1949.
