You are going to hate what I have to say but regardless you are on their turf if they purchased their properties. Fortunately for them they lived and benefited during the days of capitalism and the free market which no longer exists. The good old days are long gone and they won't be coming back anytime soon. Hate it? Sure I do too, but our whole society, politicians and government is doing nothing to fix it, they are doing nothing to bring back those good times so we have to deal with it. I would advise you to try making friends with those boomers if you can and make your parents enjoy your company for now. The sooner you accept you are on their leash at the mercy of their charity the better it will be for people like you. Otherwise you will work to death and lose everything from the hyper-inflationary debt doom loop.
