Yes, it is of course speculation. Bonbi - agent of chaos that she is - has mentioned it herself, and it just plain old makes sense considering her circumstances. This does not mean her having some degree of social anxiety (don't we all?) is 100% confirmed, but rather that I wouldn't be surprised if she struggled with it.

I'd be interested to hear what you think is evidence against it.
