If you show everyone that you are a tough and brutal guy, then this is an application for leadership in the team. In a team where you show yourself in this way, they begin to test your strength. If it turns out that you are pretending to be cool, but you do not know how to fight, then ridicule begins at that, and if you cannot fight back, then bullying begins. Bullying can begin even if you did not pretend to be cool, but did not react to the ridicule and did not fight back. I am not saying that this is good, it is bad because this is how the intelligentsia and other people useful to society are oppressed. In my experience and observations in Russia, this is how the psychology of many collectives works. I think the same is the structure of those groups in America in which there are blacks, Latinos, children of criminals, or children from disadvantaged families.
