Yeah, streaming is a huge waste of time and money (if you donate). I'll never get it either. I get it that viewers want to feel a connection to the streamer and if the streamer reads their comment or thanks them for a donation then get a big rush of dopamine. But if you're on any sort of popular streamer, the chat goes by so fast that your comment is virtually worthless.
Except for Bonbi's streams where she just talks. Those were great and I feel like I understood Bonbi better because of it. Her Overwatch streams were a total waste of time though. Especially the witch mercy stream.
