It’s not that I’m relying on her tiktoks to fix my brain. I’m pretty involved in my own therapeutic artwork and do most of the heavy lifting myself. It’s just when I check her stuff, I see similar symbols and colors just a few days or weeks after they have occurred in my art. It gives me a sense of synchronicity. It’s like watching a movie and resonating with a scene in a way that was not intended by the director, but still helps you to think about an issue in your life in a different way. I don’t see how this is codependent, since codependency is characterized by focusing on the needs of others at the expense of your own sense of self. You can resonate with the art of someone without developing an obsession about the artist.
