Also I think I have heard Danish from a couple that squatted just to my right in a campervan.
The van plates were from the good old expected Teutonic Tormentors but all I understood is Ja and Vater. This still could be German but the intonation was rather Scandi and I could not pick up any more words.
They were also rather far from where I was porking out in the sun.

Still would take Danish over any other cultural enrichment language I am currently subject to, like *kr**nian, Russian, any flavor of Spanish, any flavor of Arabic.
