Kinda same for me, not that I ever rode any competition or even have the bike fit for me, but having normal legs and slightly longer torso makes me super crunched everytime I want to mimic a Tony Martin in aero and I just can't push hard. Ass further back, elbows on the bar and keeping the back straight is the only thing semi-working. Although that is illegel.
