Yeah I think they're trying, but if he actually was convincing his post wouldn't be archived here. "I'm so relatable guys look at me, discuss through email even though you can type anonymously here" is at least an attempt past the old "buy drugs, bombs or illegal guns" protonmail entrapment, but still pathetically transparent.
