我觉得很多老人内心是空洞的，中国是个集体社会，乡村邻里，鸡犬相闻，人生的意义几乎就是建立在集体之上，没有集体，没有了别人，也就没了自我。不仅是老人，哪怕是年轻人，如果不谈功名利禄，不谈传宗接代这些外在的东西，让他们想出一个自己真正想做的事都难。
尤其是现在解决了温饱，原来活着的意义就这样没了，可以说，中国进入了一个重新寻找意义的时代。
