The perception of corruption from the human perspective changes over time. Most teenagers feel the need to change all types of corruptions (in a naive way) for a new better system. In contrast, most adults end up giving up on corruption and get used to it, they just keep the system running like brainless/soulless dads, they see corruption unavoidable.
We know how hard is to change corruption in the human minds, and we still try to change it (purification) in a benevolent way.
