Quantum physics is not something that the average human is dexterous knowledgeable, but it is already used by big/innovative tech companies. It is used or will be used (probably within a decade) to make it work real artificial intelligence or cleptocurrencies cryptocurrencies. Humans still don't have a full understanding/control of quantum physics (they just use math of probabilities to try to get something out of it) and their probable uses (including simulation of timelines in universes).
