Oh, so only one meaning can be applied to a parable at a time. Then that means I can't read out from it a warning about separation between wicked and righteous at the end of the age and both getting a different treatment then because it only talks about how wicked aren't removed earlier?

But okay, whatevs. There's more.
Read Matthew 24 (or just 29-31 if you remember the chapter), and focus on
>after the tribulation of those days
That one describes when Jesus will return for His believers (and that's, I'm afraid, the time for them to be caught up into the heavens to meet Him as described in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

Look, here's the thing, my faith won't wane because I don't get raptured and miraculously saved from all the hate and persecution I was, time and time again, told I need to suffer through for Jesus, but yours very well might if you're expecting it and it won't happen.
