Unlike the other questions in the survey that you posted, that one is not asking for an opinion, but whether or not you believe in something that is factually true. And yet the answers still lean towards the "unfavorable" side. If I had to guess why 3 is the most common answer, its people who deep down do recognize it to be true, but cannot bring themselves to admit it even in an anonymous survey because of the liberal social programming anyone who has grown up in a western country has been subjected to.
