Do I believe that HBD explains IQ gaps between ethnic groups? Or do I believe that it is still a 3rd rail?
HBD explaining IQ gaps seems like the most likely explanation based on the evidence that I've seen. American blacks have shitty culture and child-rearing habits, so that's a confounder for the white-black gap. But look at the gap between Ashkenazi Jews and non-Jewish white Americans. I don't think that culture or other environmental factors can explain that gap.
As for being a 3rd rail: Definitely in leftist-dominated areas.
