I didn't have my own computer till I was almost 18, and I had to buy it myself.
I had effectively zero online presence until almost 2009.
Actually if anything it was having basically NO open access to the internet, to suddenly having instant gratification of all the porn, flash-games, imageboards, and IMs I could want.
Actually now that I think about, I got my computer to do homework and play Minecraft, and add my xbox live friends on Facebook, and within a year of that I fell in with THIS >>49988 stupid fag, and the lil' online community that would eventually become where we are now.
