No, the fat jokes come from a part of her story where she has an eating problem and her weight starts to effect her performance so Producer has to supervise her meals. Obviously they're not going to make her model noticeably fat, but the lack of muscle definition still represents that she's not in as good of shape as the other girls cause she needs to lay off the snacks!
I am glad they rectified it. I remember being disappointed when Natsuha from one of the previous Im@s games had zero muscle definition despite her hobby literally being working out. So in this game it seems like they went in the complete other direction.
