Indeed. Although my point was also about how small the margin he lost New York by was. Not to say that NY is now going to be in play next election, but he lost by 10 points in a state that Repubs have consistently lost by over 20 points. If Republicans make the same gains in the next election NY would be red.
They said she would win this time too, and they were wrong. The polls are another institution that must be thrown out, even in 2020 Trump outperformed the polls despite ultimately losing.
I was honestly surprised we got the results today. Although their are a few Senate and House seats which are still holdouts, and I am going to be highly suspicious of the results of any tight races out of those.
