Broader e-libraries Bernd 04/09/2021 (Fri) 14:56:33 No.43248 del

Something like libgen is good enough for most people, but that only seems to have fiction books (e.g. no results at all for "Quantum") - no academic books. Also, seems to be for downloading one book at a time.

Looking for a database of community-uploaded books (as opposed to an individual's) with just about anything imaginable for downloading, and multiple books (or ALL books) downloadable in a few clicks.

I've spent many years sorting files and have a rather impressive collection to pass on to others. But have focused on particular areas. So, was thinking a community of such people could pool resources, both for expedience of sorting/finding and broadening of access.

It's hard enough to find e-libraries that have a huge variety of academic books (physical university libraries being quite the opposite), let alone a community-updated database. (Many underground books, or even just expensive books, can be hard to find in e-book form.*)

So that's the sort of group of people and/or resource I'm looking for.

* For example, looking for "Secure Multi-Party Computation" by M. M. Prabhakaran, A. Sahai. Can only find to buy (Amazon) for at least 86GBP, when a PDF would cost nothing!
