The neutrality triangle supported the structure of the Axis, chiefly with secure borders where they didn't need to expect attack from. This was in 1941. Then by 1943 this changed with the neutrality triangle showing more compliance toward the Allies, in case of Turkey the Ally lobby for them joining the war got fresh momentum, resulting in a border with Turkey which security became less and less sure by the day.
