This is interesting.
Israel bombed South Pars oil fields. In retaliation Iran attacked Qatar's gas fields, some Saudi and UAE targets.
Saudi Arabia warned that they are ready for military action.
On baseline: what can Saudi Arabia do what US and Israel can't? I don't think this is much of a deterrence.
On the other hand, Saudi Arabia has a "Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement signed on September 17, 2025" with Pakistan. Which just might mean attacks "from the backside" by Pakistan. And not just by Pakistan, but perhaps by the US too. Pakistan is a US client, and these three countries (US, Saudi, Pakistan) has historical cooperation. Such as the creation of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan and the Al Qaeda with ISIS. Great job, btw.
