As for me. What I think this war is heading.
I think Russia will capture the rest of Donetsk. Kramatorsk and Sloviansk will fall by spring, the rest will be gone quick.
But then.
Ukraine can attack Russia with drones as long as the West can supply them, and that is essentially indefinitely. Russia can't stop even if they reach all clay capturing/liberating targets because they have to eliminate the drone threat. They could occupy and annex Odessa even. The drones won't stop.
So they'll have to plow through the whole Ukraine, defeat and disarm her completely. The West can't attack Russia from their own countries, only from a "neutral" party. If Moscow can neutralize this neutral party then it will end.
Or until they can come up with a way to counter drones and completely neutralize the threat they pose, making them useless.
