Holy shit. Consequences will never be the same.
The U.S. military announced on Wednesday that it has completed the withdrawal of all American troops from Iraq

Iraq isn't a stable country no matter what are the statements of politicians in the media.
>Baghdad touted the end of the U.S. mission as a sign of the country's increasing strength and sovereignty.
Iran has considerable influence there, local militias/guerillas were attacking US bases. And there are the Kurds in the north who spread out into the neighbouring countries too, and whom don't have their own state, and whom the US always exploit as their proxies and discard them.
I'm not sure the current govt. will stay in place for long, tho an Afghanistan style flip won't happen, I haven't heard of any such group that could act like them. So I expect some level of turmoil with the central govt's power reaching only to some urban centers, the rest of the country in some level of self governance. Civil war? I don't know, I don't think so. Perhaps if the Iranians can back some group, but I assume the Kurds can be used to check those.
