I've had a moto that was out of support for at least 3 years and it worked well, more or less good (barring the obvious slowdown because every single application has to be webapp with react so it eats ram for breakfast)
Sadly I have about 0 idea about phones and how to make the software on them run so yea… Can't help you there.
