Thanks for doing this, Mayor Garcetti. Why isn’t there a suspension on all parking tickets? I live in a building where we either get one or zero spaces per apartment. That means most of us park on the street— where the parking is limited to 2 hours (and there is no permit exemption). We were told by a parking officer on Saturday that there is still ticketing for time violations— only tickets for street cleaning violations are suspended. That means almost every single person in my building, and all buildings on our street, need to leave our apartments at the exact same time every two hours, every day, just to rotate our cars around on the street. It’s pointless, incredibly high exposure for us all. Can you please extend the ticket suspension to time violations? I’m concerned that our entire building is at extremely high risk because of it.
